Gyroid Troubles

Noctem was casually walking through Solstice, minding his own business, when he saw a strange shape out of the corner of his eye. He walked over to the mysterious object and picked it up. It was a small, red Gyroid. Noctem set it on the ground to test it out, so he touched it to activate it.
"Byoooinng!! Byyyoooinnngg!! Pop! Pop! Pop! Byyyoooiiinnnnggggg!!!"
Noctem stepped back with a slightly traumatized look on his face. He had never heard such a disturbing-sounding Gyroid before. He quickly touched it again to deactivate it, but the Gyroid kept going on.
"BYYYOOOIINNG!! POP!! POP POP!!"
"WHAT ARE YOU?!" Noctem pushed it over and ran down a hill towards the beach. He sat down and took a deep breath. However, he heard something beside him.
"BYOING! BYOING! POPOPOPOPOP!!!! BYYYYOOIIINNGG!!!"
What could this thing be? Where did it come from? HOW WAS IT MOVING FREELY? Noctem picked up the thing, and chucked it over his shoulder.
"Byoooinng!! Byyyoooinnngg!! Pop! Pop! Pop! Byyyoooiiinnnnggggg!!!"

Howl was hit on the head by a gyroid. He was completely knocked over. He sat there rubbing his head.

Noctem heard a CONK, and he turned around to see Howl sitting on the ground.
"Oh! Howl! I'm sorry, bluh!"
Noctem helped Howl back onto his feet, and looked down at the Gyroid. It continued to wail.
"Byoing! Byoing! POP POP POPOP! BYYOOOIIINNGG!!!"
Noctem got a panicked look on his face.
"It won't shut up, bluh!"
"Oh! Howl! I'm sorry, bluh!"
Noctem helped Howl back onto his feet, and looked down at the Gyroid. It continued to wail.
"Byoing! Byoing! POP POP POPOP! BYYOOOIIINNGG!!!"
